Update on Additional FY 2005 H-1B Numbers

The USCIS announced recently that as of May 20, 2005, 6,393 of the available 20,000 visas made available pursuant to the H-1B Visa Reform Act of 2004 had been issued. The new visas made available under this act are for foreign workers with a minimum Master's level degree from a U.S. academic institution.
