CIS Photo Specs Changing

August 04, 2004

USCIS recently announced that starting, August 1, 2004, they will begin accepting passport style photographs (Department of State standard style, frontal view). They will no longer accept immigration style photographs (ADIT, 3/4 profile style photographs) after September 1, 2004. Therefore, USCIS will accept either style of photograph through the month of August 2004. You may find additional information regarding passport style photographs at the Department of State website http://travel.state.gov/passport/pptphotos/index.
